The new Dallas Cowboys stadium is absolutely gorgeous. Architectural firm, HKS architects, revolutionized the way stadiums are built by building the largest NFL stadium in the world. This building is 2.3 million sq. feet which will have the capacity to fit 80,000 fans and the flexibility to accommodate 100,000. Some of the unique features of this stadium include, the world’s largest centre-high scoreboard, world’s largest single-span roof structure, a pair of retractable end zone doors, and a 86 foot high exterior glass wall.
For all the non-NFL fans or NFL fans (even if you dislike the cowboys)… this is a venue everyone has to visit in their lifetime.

We apologize for not posting this sooner on our blog, but this e-flyer has been circulating (for over a week) to many of our builder friends. Our Account Manger, Tim, will be participating in the Building Industry & Land Development Sales and Marketing Forum tomorrow morning. He’ll be providing insights regarding real estate visualization tools and ethnic advertising.
There will be a total of six speakers participating, including a builder, two advertising & marketing firms, two realtors, and a banker. We’ll post a summary of the event in the next few days.

Considering the focal point of our core services incorporate 3D imaging, we always want to keep our followers updated with the latest 3D technology. The popularity of 3D visualization is excelling and in the next few years it will be a standard format for all videos and images.
Fujifilm has been working on the 3D camera and viewing concept for five years and they finally released a working prototype. The 3D image results can be seen without the need for special 3D glasses and the print is precisely rendered with the fine-pitch lenticular technology.
Unfortunately, from this video, it didn’t fully capture the 3D effect compared to the naked eye. For the full effect, this is something you need to see in person. The release date in North America is approximately one year from now.

This morning, one of our account managers attended the Condo Cost Trends forum hosted by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) and he came away with some info that we would like to share with our followers. There is definitely positive news floating around and in general many builders see light at the end of the tunnel!
Selling Condo Lands – Now or Wait?
Better now than 6 months from now
Much better chance for disposition if:
- Prime location
- Small/moderate project size
- Holding income
- Vendor-take-back or existing financing available
- Possesses value-added opportunities
- “Realistic” vendor
Buying Condo Lands
When
- In the next few months – joint venture opportunities and strategic acquisitions for premium sites with holding income
- More opportunities in 2nd half of 2009 and throughout 2010
- Condo land prices will likely go down 25%-50% from peak in the coming year.
Where & What
- Proven locations (downtown Toronto, Waterfront, North Yonge Corridor, etc.)
- Moderate price locations. (better have holding income for upsale locations)
- Moderate size projects
- Downzone high-rise to medium density in periphery locations (stacked townhouses, 4-storey stick-build)
- Sites with value-added opportunities
